☁️ Google announces Solana partnership through GCP
Just this morning: Google announced a major partnership with Solana.
The TLDR version:
Google is running a validator for the Solana network (implying they will run more soon)
Google is working on making it easy for anyone to run a dedicated Solana node
Google is working on making SOL data accessible through BigQuery (where devs + companies can pull data from the SOL blockchain)
Why This Is a Big Deal:
These updates will make it easy for companies to build applications on the SOL network
Wordpress made it 100x easier to start a blog, Shopify made it 100x easier to start an Ecommerce store. Updates like these to GCP will make it much easier to create Solana applications
The more applications built using the SOL network = the more users brought to the network = the more opportunities for traders and builders on the ecosystem
It is very exciting to watch updates like this happen, and its an amazing time to be in Web3!

Team / Funding / Backers Info / Transaction Amount: Metamask and Game7, a Web3 gaming DAO, partnered to create HyperPlay. Game7 was created to accelerate the adoption of blockchain-enabled game economies, with a treasury with $500m in capital committed by BitDAO and Forte.
According to jacobc.eth, HyperPlay founder and Game7 core contributor, HyperPlay will allow devs to build permissionless game economies, and players can take assets between games, use them in DeFi, and follow their friends’ wallets.

Purpose of Tool: Tessera (previously Fractional) is the place to own and govern NFTs, together. With this rebranding, Tessera is focused on curating the most extraordinary collective ownership experiences produced by the greatest creators, builders, and leaders.
Tessera also launched Nounlets, their experiment in collective governance over an individual Noun. Each Nounlet represents 1% of the vaulted Noun and has a vote in delegating the Noun’s governance rights.
Team / Funding / Backers / Other Info: Earlier this summer, Tessera closed their Series A, a $20M round led by Paradigm. The round also included investments from Focus Labs, Uniswap Labs Ventures, E Girl Capital, Yunt Capital, and over 50 incredible angel investors.
Since launching in 2021, Fractional has provided over 70,000 people the ability to collectively own over 6,500 of the world’s most sought-after NFTs.
