💡 Intro
We have an update for the product giveaway we mentioned last week!
🥳 Congrats to TFC Rewards winner mat***iams1990@gmail.com for winning the Crypto Capsule giveaway! We’ve emailed you, so make sure to respond with those details.
For any rewards member who didn’t, don’t fret! We’re working on future product collabs and will have more giveaways, so stay tuned for those.
MEV bots are stealing millions in profits from crypto traders. And with the recent meme coin cycle, their usage has only grown.
According to this Dune Analytics graph + Sealaunch: 7% of ETH gas was consumed last month by 1 MEV bot alone!
MEV bots, or "Miner Extractable Value" bots, are automated programs that scan the blockchain for profitable transactions, often manipulating the order of transactions for their financial gain.
They can effectively "steal" money by front-running or sandwiching user transactions, exploiting price discrepancies, and manipulating the fees users pay, resulting in financial losses for the affected parties.
To avoid having MEV bots steal from you while trading, consider using some of the following tools:
Flashbots RPC: Widely used RPC that allows regular users to easily submit their transactions to the Flashbots Auction by using a custom RPC endpoint in their wallet
CowSwap: Another widely used tool. It’s a DEX + Aggregator that protects against MEV. They just launched a new RPC that’s trending (we’ll cover it tomorrow)
Starbucks’s 2nd NFT drop is happening right now: with the launch of the “The First Store Collection Stamp” on Nifty Gateway.
It’s a very important Web3 loyalty program candidate to watch, as Starbuck’s main rewards platform has over 29M users globally.
The new NFT gives holders 1500 more points towards Starbucks benefits.
Odyssey has introduced 3 tiers of benefits based on points held by users. These benefits include things like 1 month of free Starbucks drinks, Starbucks Reserve Tours, special edition mugs, and more.
Details of the Mint Include:
Cost: $100 per NFT
Supply: 5,000
Where It’s Held: Nifty Gateway
Presale / General: 9 AM PT / 12 PM PT
Criteria to Mint: The last Starbucks drop sold out quickly and people who came late couldn’t mint. To guard against that, the team put a limit of 1 mint per Odyssey account
This means only Odyssey Beta members can mint (non Odyssey members can still buy, but only off the secondary)
Minters were able to sell for $200-$250 throughout the presale period.
Not a bad profit for clicking some buttons!
