This post by our friends at the Jericho team lists over 170 European VC funds along with a detailed categorization of them in an airtable.
For traders/investors: it’s great to see what VCs are investing in and what narratives currently have attention.
For builders/founders: lists like this are great for finding potential investors, mentors, and accelerators.
Full post and list is below:
Be careful when signing transactions: a new scam is going around related to fake Blur txts.
The scam works like this:
Because Blur signatures related to bulk listings are obfuscated (unreadable) by default: malicious parties are taking advantage of this and presenting fake signatures.
Tools like the ones below can’t detect them as scams, as the scam signatures are unreadable (and so are Blur signatures, so it’s hard to tell them apart).
Traders are signing the signatures as the tools aren’t flagging the signatures, so people are getting scammed
To Pocket Universe’s credit: they just made an update that flags Blur signatures that don't come from the official Blur website.
But always be weary when signing txts! As great as security tools are: they are not fool proof and it’s always up to Web3 users to take caution.

Forta
"Billions of dollars in Web3 monitored by Forta."
Type of Product: Security
Purpose of Tool: Forta is a decentralized monitoring network designed to detect threats and anomalies on DeFi, NFT, governance, bridges, and other Web3 systems in real-time. It utilizes two main components – detection bots and scan nodes – to accomplish this. The Forta Network provides an automated system for monitoring the security of blockchain transactions and activities.
Detection Bots: Detection bots are code scripts contained within Docker containers that process data from a blockchain and detect specific conditions or threats (e.g. flash loan attacks). They emit alerts when they identify any suspicious activity.
Scan Nodes: Scan nodes are specialized Forta nodes which execute detection bots for each new transaction and block on a blockchain network. The scan node manages the bots and ferries data to them so they can process it.
Real-Time Monitoring: Forta's automation allows for real-time monitoring of blockchain networks, ensuring threats and anomalies are identified quickly and accurately.
Team / Funding / Backers / Other Info: On September 30th 2021, OpenZeppelin, a blockchain cybersecurity startup, announced that it had secured an investment of $23 million for Forta. The funding was led by venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz and received support from Coinbase Ventures, True Ventures, and Blockchain Capital.
